This is the report from the regional CAN workshop that was held in Yangon, Myanmar, in November 2019. The workshop, which focused on developing a set of strategic planning guidelines for developing community-led housing in Yangon's South Dagon Township, was jointly organized by CAN and by the Yangon-based NGO Women for the World, with good support from the city-level and township-level local authorities, the local network of women's savings groups and other local professionals.

This set of notes about the housing situation in Yangon, Myanmar, were prepared for participants in the regional Community Architects Network (CAN) workshop that took place in Yangon, Myanmar, in November 2019. The CAN workshop in Yangon was hosted by the Women for the World NGO.
