The paper was published in May 2003, as Working Paper 12, in the IIED's Poverty Reduction in Urban Areas Series.

This publication describes the work of the Community Organizations Development Institute (CODI), which was formerly called the Urban Community Development Office (UCDO), as of January 2001.

This is the second newsletter of the Urban Community Development Office (UCDO) in Thailand. Soon after this, UCDO was merged with the Rural Development Fund to become CODI (Community Organizations Development Institute.
