The article describes the work of the Urban Poor Development Fund (UPDF) to build and support a community-driven development movement in Phnom Penh and other cities around Cambodia, since it was founded in 1994.

This paper describes the work of the CLAFNET Fund (which was earlier called CLAPNET) in Sri Lanka - a fund that was set up with ACHR assistance right after the 2004 Asian tsunami, to assist poor communities with their rebuilding and community revival work after the disaster.
