2024 was a big year for ACHR and our partners across Asia, marked by new partnerships, deeper collaborations, and significant strides in community-led housing and urban development. Through action research, alliances, and exchanges, we expanded our reach and showcased the power of people-led processes. This year featured vibrant local and regional gatherings where community groups, city governments, and allies strengthened networks and shared ideas. From research on housing and health to efforts on securing land and improving living conditions, communities continue to lead the way. As we move forward, we carry the lessons of this productive year, reaffirming our belief that the most sustainable solutions come from those who know their cities best.
