This DVD compilation comprises videos from the Video Media Network VMN Asia (Disc 1) and the Community Architects Network - Asia (disc 2). The main objective with the 2 partners networks in producing the DVD set is to open space for grassroots urban poor organisations and supporters to make videos for advocacy, learning, confidence building and to also expand their links with the public and public media. 
The selection has been made from around 60 videos considered from the network.
Some are of high quality made through collaboration with volunteer professionals; some are first hand video-making learning experiences; some are made by the community themselves and others have been made by NGOs and young architects in CAN. 
The set covers a wide variety of topics, but are unified by their focus on the issues of the urban poor and people-centred development. savings processes, community mapping, building technology for the poor, disaster rehabilitation, ACCA projects, city issues, introductions to CAN and other community organisations.
Some have been shown on National television and have received good responses from government and the general public, others have been used in local training,meetings, for exposure to community processes and to opening up different countries to other countries experiences.
